The Common BVS Project is the first joint venture of its kind in Pakistan amongst the CMOs, operational since 2014. PMD is providing the CMOs a Common Platform to operate the Common BVS Devices with a Centralized Management System.

Common BVS Middleware and Architecure

PMD hosts the Central Middleware for the CMOs’ Common BVS Devices, which allows all the CMOs’ to undertake the GSM Sales related activities including:

The Common BVS Middleware provides Secure and Centralized Middleware Services for CMOs’ Common BVS Devices. CMOs have developed customized APNs (Access Point Names) for the Data Connectivity of the Common BVS Devices via GGSN (Gateway GPRS Support Node).

The Common BVS Middleware is a customizable and scalable solution

that can accommodate new Devices as well as new Business Processes as per the CMOs requirements. The Common BVS Middleware has the capability to the release the Devices Application updates via OTA (Over-The-Air).

The Common BVS Middleware enable the CMOs to view various Transactional Reports and offers remote administrative tools to manage the Devices effectively.
